Avalon SafeHome: in-home safety tech setup, training and support for older adults in Palm Beach County
We set up simple safety tech in your parent’s Palm Beach County home, teach them to use it in plain English, and put the family app on your phone, wherever you live.
Built for families who can’t be there every day, whether you’re across town or across the country.
Help your parent stay independent at home longer, with less worry for everyone.
Illustration only. Alerts depend on the devices and settings your family chooses.
A 20-minute call with you (and your parent, if they’d like) about worries, routines and budget.
We check Wi-Fi, doors and rooms, then give you a written quote. No pressure.
We set everything up in one visit and practice with your parent until it feels easy.
Family app on your phone, plus a local team to call when something needs fixing.
One-time setup prices include the standard devices listed, setup, family app setup and training. All prices are plus sales tax. Final price depends on the home; we quote in writing first.
Any new wiring is handled by a licensed Florida contractor we work with.
Some device makers charge their own small subscriptions (for example, video history for the doorbell), and 24/7 emergency monitoring for a help button is billed by that provider directly. We tell you every cost before you buy.
Mainstream brands you can buy anywhere, chosen because they are simple to live with. Nothing is worn unless your parent wants it.
Small radar sensors on the ceiling. No cameras, no wearables. They notify family if a fall is detected.
See who’s at the door from the kitchen or your own phone, anywhere.
A keypad code for each caregiver, so you know who came and went.
A wearable button connected to a 24/7 monitoring service your family selects.
Big-screen video calls and spoken reminders for pills and appointments.
Shared calendar, reminders and alerts on each family member’s own phone. See the app demo.
Your parent’s home is not a data source. Here is what we commit to in writing:
Yes. We set up the family apps on each person’s own phone, anywhere in the country, and walk you through them on a video call.
Packages start at $849, plus sales tax, including standard devices, setup and training. We visit first and give you a written quote before any work begins. Any new wiring is handled by a licensed Florida contractor we work with.
No. If your home needs new low-voltage wiring, a licensed Florida contractor we partner with does it, and it appears separately on your written quote.
Not from us unless you choose the optional $59/month Care Plan. If you want a 24/7 emergency help button, that monitoring company bills you directly; we help you compare options. Some devices also have small optional subscriptions, which we explain up front.
Yes. Care Plan members get remote and in-person help with TVs, cable boxes, tablets, computers and other home tech.
No. We never sell or share your data, and accounts are created in your family’s name.
That’s the job. Most devices work with no buttons at all. We train in plain English, leave a large-print guide, and come back if she needs a refresher.
No. We are a technology setup and training provider. Sensors and apps send notifications but can miss events. In an emergency, call 911.
